Wood or metal bar stools.

Consumers have such a nice choice of bar stools these days, deciding between wood or metal can make for a dilemma, unless you establish some ground rules.  With a home full of modern furniture, the shopper will have eliminated at least half the inventory available, and can begin their online search by using contemporary bar stools as a basic starting point.  To make the choice a little easier, deciding on the construction is a good idea.  If wood is preferred and you have several pieces of wood furniture close to where the stools will be sitting, perhaps you might want to relate the stools to the wood.  A bar stool cherry stained would look wonderful with the cherry tables you have.  They don't have to match perfectly, particularly if there's some distance between the tables and the stools.  Another modern style to consider for contemporary bar stools may be to look for bar stools chrome finished.  There are some amazing designs in chrome and if the stools will be located at a bar in a corner, they will certainly make a statement for that area, reinforce the modernity, and add some sparkle to the room and have a very sophisticated look if they are the in the high-seat category.  Whether a bar stool cherry stained or bar stools chrome finished are under consideration, there remain an array of stools from which to choose.  How can the choice be narrowed down if they are both contemporary?  One approach may be to look at the style of the modern furniture already in place.  These pieces have certain geometry about them when examined with that perspective in mind.  They may have a tendency to be curvilinear or have strictly straight lines.  If there is a combination of both geometries, the field of choice is still open.  If one or the other, the field is narrowed once again.  With the majority of existing furnishings upholstered, it may be more interesting to use unupholstered stools.  Setting up a contrast adds a counterpoint that the space may need.  Wood stools are more likely to be upholstered, and that may narrow the choices enough to make the decision.  Some chrome stools are upholstered.  Color may come into play here, and if so, that may be desirable.  A contrasting or matching color will become yet another choice.  With these criteria in place, shoppers for contemporary bar stools will have made the decision somewhat less of a dilemma.
